As standard, all Geku linear robots are installed with servo drives on the 3 primary axis ensuring smooth operation and ease of programming. The robust mechanical design and installation of high precision linear bearings ensures day to day maintenance free operation and long term reliability.
Injection moulding machine tending from 50 Tonne to 3000 Tones is a major application area for GeKu Cartesian Robots and added value operations such as insert loading, downstream assembly, printing, welding and packing are all proven applications.. High speed linear traverse rates of up to 4.7 m/sec can be achieved ensuring the quickest possible take out times with In Mould cycle (dry cycle) interruption recorded as low as 0.3 seconds.
The flexible control with parallel program capability means multitasking is an easy and standard function, allowing the robot and any attached peripheral equipment to be controlled from a single programming unit, ensuring simplicity, easy diagnostics and eliminating the requirement for additional PLC controllers.
